Forestry Mulching Expertise
Experts forestry mulching, tree removal and land clearing.
Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation on a given area.
A forestry mulching machine, also referred to as a forestry mulcher, forest masticator, or brushcutter, uses a rotary drum equipped with steel chipper tools (“teeth”) or blades to shred vegetation. They are manufactured as application-specific tractors and as mulching attachments (“mulching heads”) for existing tracked and rubber-tired forestry tractors, skid steers, or excavators.
Using a forestry mulcher and specialist machinery, trees, scrub and roots are reduced to mulched wood quickly and efficiently. This practice is recognised as the most cost effective way of disposing of wooded material in an environmentally friendly manner.
Reintroducing the shredded biomass into the natural cycle leads to improved soil structure and protects the ground from dehydration and erosion.
The remaining material can be leveraged off and left to regenerate naturally or it can be cleared to off-site composting facilities, leaving the area free from root material.
